OUR SERVICE
- The composition of employee benefits has undergone considerable change over the past few years, and the trend is set to continue. There are many factors that can change in a twelve-month period and whilst an annual review is laborious, it is essential. As Specialists, we undertake this task on your behalf.
- This is not a straightforward process as Benefit Schedules may vary considerably. While some schemes may appear more competitive, this may have been achieved by restricting the levels of cover, or by applying stricter underwriting conditions. If you were to carry out a detailed financial analysis of the remaining features you might find the scheme, benefit for benefit, is more expensive.
- Mutual Health is well qualified to undertake the review for you. We will ensure that we understand and appreciate your priorities in selecting the appropriate product and features, and will prepare clear well-written reports detailing like-for-like quotations.
- We will provide a detailed analysis of each set of proposals together with direct comparisons. Our final presentation will generally include options from at least three major providers, and any other provider which we feel could provide you with a suitable healthcare package.
- Included in our presentation and recommendation will be a background description of any short-listed companies giving information on their current claims and administration service levels, market placing and any other details that may influence the ultimate choice.
- The principal result of our advice will be guidance on the most appropriate options for you. This will be include a detailed benefit and financial comparison of the competing products and will also take into consideration service standards and market reputation. Our recommendations will be clear, concise and specifically tailored to meet your requirements. Once you have made your choice, we will continue to monitor the provider's performance and maintain regular liaison with you, our client.
- In our view most companies will only change supplier if the product fails to deliver the required level of cover, the price is unacceptably high or service standards are poor. Our knowledge of the market will help in product selection, and our skill in negotiation will ensure the most cost effective terms are presented. As experts in this field we will take the guesswork out of the more subjective elements of the healthcare package, namely service standards.
- The cost of your package will be the same, regardless of whether or not an intermediary is appointed. Our services generally are provided free of charge, and are funded by payments from the providers themselves. In exceptional circumstances where it is necessary to charge a fee, we will discuss this with you and negotiate terms before our work commences.
