PERSONAL APPROACH

  • Whilst many providers now have some form of Help Desk that can adequately answer day-to-day queries, who can speedily answer the more technical problems or give you a view of usual market practice?  With Mutual Health you need only have one point of contact.  The time and irritation involved in contacting the insurers, and then often being passed from department to department, can be dispensed with.
  • Many Providers and Intermediaries will only contact their clients as the time for review approaches.  Mutual Health will maintain contact through the year to keep you informed of relevant market developments, gain feed-back on service delivery, and to help re-assess your needs as the circumstances of your organisation change.  By taking this approach the review process is simplified, and less traumatic.  We are already aware of your priorities, together with the changing profile of your group during the year.  This allows us to perform elements of the review well in advance and graduate any demands on your resources, rather than compressing the entire renewal process into a few frantic weeks, possibly compromising on its completeness.
  • We have excellent working relationships with all the major providers, and are in regular contact. This in turn means we have a good working knowledge of the structure and operation of these companies.  We have personal contacts within these organisations, allocated to looking after OUR clients. Most companies experience operational difficulties from time to time, and we will always be aware of the current state of affairs.  We can pass our experience on to you, and take account of this when we make our recommendations.
  • Our knowledge of the product and declared service standards provides us with a benchmark by which we monitor and evaluate your particular experience.  If that is unsatisfactory we will take issue with the provider concerned, keeping you fully advised.
  • Given the nature of our business, we are only too aware of the necessity to be sympathetic and tactful in dealing with any issue brought to us either by you, your employees or their dependents.  An informed, speedy, and considerate response is very comforting and reassuring to members of your staff at a time when they may be feeling very vulnerable.
  • Apart from individual queries we can advise on the suitability of additional products or market changes that may affect your specific needs.
